Haran has over 9 years of market and social research experience with Sri Lankan market research firms. He possesses a sound technical knowledge on managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative researches across various consumer groups.

Haran worked as a Research Manager, Consumer Insights at Nielsen and as a Senior Business Analyst at MTI consulting. His business expertise extends to cover different sectors including FMCG, B2B, Industrial and Education for which he carried out numerous consumer research, customer segmentation, usage/attitudes and market entry/feasibility studies. Handled key corporate clients like Hemas, Browns, Etisalat etc. while working at Nielsen. During his tenure at MTI Consulting, Haran was involved in strategic planning, re-structuring and market intelligence related projects.

While working for LIRNEasia, He managed research in India and Sri Lanka which explore the opportunities for under-employed youth, women and previously- excluded persons participating in micro-work platforms.  Haran was involved in conducting statistical analysis & insight generation for a research that included two nationally representative sample survey of ICT use in Myanmar.  He also  managed a study looking at policy implications of tariff designing in the electricity sector in Sri Lanka. Haran’s interests are mainly on Inclusive development, Shared economy, Financial Inclusion and decent work employment related dimensions.

Haran holds a Masters in Economics and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Colombo and Postgraduate Diploma in marketing qualification offered by CIM.

 Dilki KarunasenaDilki Karunasena
 Senior Manager: Client Engagement 

Dilki has over 5 years of market research experience at The Nielsen Company . She is specialized in quantitative research across various products & services.

She started her career at MAS Holdings and moved on to Nielsen as a Senior Researcher of Consumer Insights. She has experience in Usage & Attitude, Brand Equity and Segmentation studies across diverse sectors including Banking & Finance, Telecommunication, and FMCG. Dilki was responsible of managing client expectation throughout project life cycles by generating actionable customer insights that drove revenue-generating strategies. Dilki handled key clients such as HSBC, Commercial Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, Nations Trust Bank, Bank of Ceylon, LOLC, Dialog, Unilever, Baurs etc.

She is well experienced in leading and training field research officers and ensures quality control procedures. Dilki holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Relations from the University of Colombo.

Manager: Field Operation

Krishantha has over 08 years experience in field operations and management. He started his career as a field research officer and gradually gained experience in supervision and field management. He was attached to Nielsen for more than 5 years and worked for many challenging project.

Krishantha has experience in both qualitative and quantitative research management. He has extensive experience in organizing Central Location Test (CLT) and Consumer connects. Krishantha has involved in 58 CLT tests in his career.

                                  
Brunthan SrikumarBrunthan Srikumar
Data Analyst 

Brunthan holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Business and Management from North-Umbria University. He is involved in analyzing large amounts of data, facts, figures and number crunching. He ensures data quality control procedures are implemented and optimized at every stage of the research process.In addition to that, he identifies, evaluates and implements external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
